10 Best Gifts for Speech Language Pathologists

With the holidays approaching quickly, I thought I’d share the best gifts for speech language pathologists that your favorite therapist will actually use and love! These gifts could also be great for a newly graduated SLP or a thank you gift for a mentor, supervisor, or professor. If you’re an SLP reading this list, please comment below with the favorite gift you’ve ever received!

Best Gifts for Speech Language Pathologists

1. WaterColor Art Work

These beautiful watercolor pictures will surely brighten up any SLP’s office! This is a unique present that will definitely show your therapist that you were thinking of him/her! (Note- These pictures come unframed. To really amp up the present, frame these pictures before giving them).

2. S’WELL WATER BOTTLE

Another favorite gift of mine is a high-quality water bottle. SLP’s do A LOT of talking all day. These water bottles keep water cold for up to 36 hours. The bottles come in a variety of colors and sizes!

3. TOTE BAG

Most speech pathologists find themselves lugging around materials daily. Wether it’s testing kits, therapy toys, or craft materials, a therapist will put this tote bag to good use!

4. NECK AND BACK MASSAGER

Maybe this isn’t the most traditional gift for a speech language pathologist, however it will definitely be an appreciated one! Most SLP’s sit for periods of time to do billing, write therapy notes, or write evaluations. This reasonably priced massager will help your favorite SLP feel a bit more relaxed while getting their work done!

5. PERSONALIZED STATIONARY

This gift will show the receiver that you really thought about them! These personalized notecards are a great addition to your SLP’s desk.

6. SLP Mug

This mug is so cute and special for an SLP!

7. SLP POUCH

This is a special little bag that will make your SLP smile! Plus, it has a beautiful message on the back of the bag. Use this little pouch as a holder for a gift card or just give as is!

8. BLUETOOTH SPEAKER

Many speech language pathologists use music during therapy sessions. This small, portable bluetooth speaker would be an excellent addition to any therapist’s tools.

9. MARKER PENS

This fun set of pens is most likely not something a speech pathologist would buy themselves. However, as a therapist myself, I love to use different colored pens and markers when organizing notes or writing out different things during therapy sessions.

10. GIFT CARD

Last but not least, a gift card will ALWAYS be appreciated!
