8 Best Flap Books for Your Toddler

There are so many wonderful flap books out on the market for your child. In this post, I will narrow the list down to the best ones for your toddler that help increase language skills. Flap books are great for language development since the exciting flaps motivate your child to attend to the books. These types of books are also usually very repetitive and allow your child to help participate in the story. The flaps provide a great opportunity for your child to request to “open” the door (Tip: Use a finger to keep the flap closed until your child requests to open it). Flap books also offer many opportunities to learn new vocabulary due to their simplistic nature.
